How to register a domain through Webs. 

To purchase a new domain:

Step 1: Go to the top of the site builder and click on the "Dashboard" link.

Step 2: Click on the “Domains & Email” tab. Under the "You're missing out!" message, enter the domain name
you wish to register and the system will check its availability. If it is available, click on the "Purchase Domain" button.

Step 3: Next you select either or both STANDARD DOMAINS, INTERNATIONAL DOMAINS or other domain names you may be interested in.

 

Note: Not all TLD's cost the same. Their price is based on their exclusivity.
Step 4: Select options for your domain names such as the Registration Term and Privacy Protection. 

 

Step 5:.Enter your Account Information

 

Note: Every field in the account holder information area must be filled out or you will get and error notice.

Step6: Confirm your Order and purchase
Note:If you have a domain coupon it will automatically be applied during checkout.

When registering a .ca domain , CIRA (the domain registrant overseer)has particular requirements when finalizing your domain registration. Unfortunately we can not control if CIRA will finalize the registration. However, we can give tips to increase the probability of successful registration.

Ensure you choose Yes for "Registrant has agreed to CIRA's Registrant Agreement".
Ensure you choose English as "The contacts preferred language for communication".
Ensure you choose Canadian Citizen as the "Legal type of Registrant Contact".
Ensure you choose not to "Hide registrant data in CIRA WHOIS".

Renew a domain:

Step 1: Go to your "CONTROL PANEL” and click on the “REGISTER A DOMAIN NAME” icon.

Step 2: Under the "MANAGE YOUR DOMAINS" area, click on the "Renew" button and follow the instructions.
