- Colors & Fonts
-
The Themes link at the top of your account takes you to the Colors & Tab of the Theme Editor.
NOTE: The same options for customization won’t be available across all themes.
What follows are the potential color and font customization options that are available to you, depending on the theme you have chosen:
- Global: Subheader, Buttons, Accent
- Body: Text, Titles
- Header: Navigation
- Footer: Text, Titles
As you toggle between the global, Body, Header and Footer tabs, your page will automatically scroll to the page location where the change will be applied. For most customizations, you will see a live preview of your changes prior to saving them.
- Backgrounds
-
With the Backgrounds tab in the Theme Editor, you can select from a collection of patterns and textures to customize the tiling of your site's background. You can also upload your own images for use as a background.
The default option in the Backgrounds dropdown is Image. Click Choose File to open the file browser on your computer and select the image you wish to use as a background.
You can click the red X that appears in the upper-right corner of your background thumbnail to delete it.
NOTE: For many themes, background images are tiled by default. To have a background that may not appear tiled, an image resolution with a minimum of 1920 x 1200px is recommended.
The Texture option in the dropdown menu allows you to choose from a set of pre-loaded textures. These textures, combined with a color chosen from the picker, create a custom pattern for your site.
Your final option is for Patterns, which are split into categories via an additional dropdown menu.
