Custom HTML

There may be times when you want to add an element to your site that does not have a specific module in the Builder. That's when you should use the HTML module, which is located under the "Other" tab in the Builder. The HTML module allows to add snippets of code, such as Flash embeds, widgets or ad codes.

Before you get started using the HTML module, there are a few important things to keep in mind:

  1. Use of the HTML module is a premium feature. Click here to upgrade your account to Premium.
  2. The HTML module is only intended for embedding smaller snippets of code, not the full HTML code of entire webpages.
  3. The HTML module should only be used if you are fairly comfortable with coding language. Webs is not responsible for troubleshooting any elective or third-party code you add to your website. If the code does not work, refer to the site where you retrieved the code.

To get started, locate the HTML module in the "Other" tab at the bottom of the Builder and drag the module onto your page.

Once the module is in place, double-click the placeholder to paste your code.

The code will not render in Builder mode. To see how the finished product will look on your website, click the Preview button. It appears as a magnifying glass in the upper-right corner of the Builder.
