Hey Guys,
Recently users have been reporting that (while editing) they are encountering an error message which states "Please refresh to avoid further errors.". We understand that in some cases refreshing your browser does not work and even deletes content. We would like to investigate this issue further. If you all could please provide us with some system information that would be very beneficial in determining the source of the issue. Please be sure paste http://www.supportdetails.com into your browser and provide us with the information you see. (Browser Version and Type, Site URL, and Operating System) Thanks guys!

Hey Guys,
We'll need little more information from you all in order to better troubleshoot this issue. Please be sure to provide us with all of the following that applies so that we can address your issue properly. Keep in mind that we may need additional information afterwards. However, here's where we'll need to start. Without this information, we will not be able to further assist. Thank you in advance for your patience! :-)
- The actual address of any page you are having questions about or difficulties with.
- Steps you are taking to attempt to accomplish the task. Tell us what you are typing in and what links you are clicking on. We may need to follow your actual steps to try to reproduce the error.
- The exact wording of any error messages you are getting. For example: "Error 404", "J_spring_security check", etc.
- What browser type and version you're using as well as what Operating System you're using. (Not sure about that information? Go to www.supportdetails.com.)
- What steps you have taken to try to resolve the error, and what happened as a result.
We may also need screenshots so we can see exactly what you are looking at. That will give us a much better idea of what exactly is going on.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation! We appreciate it!

Hey Guys,
We're still looking into this issue however we do have some insight as to why this issue is occurring.
As of this post, this issue has only be tested in Firefox:
It seems as though the issue occurs when users do not click the green check mark directly above your content box(es) after editing. This action is normally suppose to save any changes made to the content within the content box.
As a result of not saving your changes, the error message "Refresh to avoid further errors..." appears. In some cases, the content box options are no longer available as well.
Refreshing the page can cause the unsaved content to be deleted and additional errors to occur.
Therefore, it is extremely crucial that the content box is saved after you've made any changes or even after clicking within it.
Please continue to provide us with the requested information as this will allow us to better troubleshoot this issue.
Thanks guys!

Hello!
It looks like you've copied and pasted content onto the page. Unfortunately doing so can cause editing issues. You'll need to recreate the page/

Hi
I'm having this Refresh error problem as well as blank paragraph boxes, and loss of edits. I created a new page and new content box, couldn't get any content into it before getting the Refresh error and lost the new content although the box remained.
Formatting is also a challenge - sometimes its WYSIWYG other times it's inconsistent. Sometimes it will take formatting, other times it won't.
I use a mix of IE8 and firefox (latest) on macs and PC and keep encountering the same issue. Getting really frustrating trying to keep my club's site up to date...-
If you're currently using the Classic Editor, please upgrade to SiteBuilder 2 within the Site Settings section.
Log into your account
Click on the "Control Panel"
Click "Website Settings"
Change the edit mode to the "New SiteBuilder"
If you're still experiencing issues in that editor, please let us know. -

I've been using google chrome on windows 7.
website URL: http://www.votrclan.webs.com
I type up the content I wish to put. Then I click on the green check mark then I get an error stating that I need to refresh the page. I've also tried editing on Internet Explorer and I don't have this issue. My guess is that there is a compatibility issue with google chrome.-
Hi Chris, There is a compatibility issue with Google Chrome at this time. Please use another browser for now. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Hello,
I've been having the same problem in the last 48 hours.
I did not copy and paste anything and I just edit from scratch.
I have hundreds of pages and the only one actually working fine is the homepage.
In chrome and safari I get the loading or refreshing problem: http://www.guardafilm.me/loading refresh.png
In Firefox it will actually load but I get the refresh error:
http://www.guardafilm.me/Refresh.png
I add a new page in Firefox It will not give the possibility to add a new content box.
As you can see my domain is www.guardafilm.me and I have been try in all the most popular browsers.
Thank you!- view 1 more comment

Hi, Dom.
Unfortunately your solution does not help.
I have 'not' done anything different and
I have not added anything from other website or MS Office.
As I wrote I edit from scratch and I do copy and paste
but just from 'webs' pages to 'webs' pages within my website.
I have been editing the website, every day, for 4 years almost
and never had this kind a problem.
And I need support as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help! -

To clarify, I did not state that you copied and pasted into the sitebuilder. My apologies for any confusion.
However, this error is specific to your site as a result of the HTML coding you've added.
Adding scripts into the sitebuilder can easily cause this type of issue if more than one is added, or if there is an error present.
There are ads that run while in your SiteBuilder which is not typical seeing as though most code is not rendered until the site is published. As stated, there is added code on your pages which is causing this issue.
It's typically easiest to start from the most recently added content and remove that. That's typically where the issue lies. -
