I use my own personal meebo bar and modified its code three days ago and it worked the entire three days 'til today it no longer works. I've tried replacing the code again and it didn't work. My code is put in the sidebar. My site is http://hero-games.webs.com

At the end of certain links on my sidebar at http://www.oklahomaskies.net they display " < img title = " at the end of the url and therefore make the links broken. It also appears that it is only partially recognizing the html. -

I reported this problem a few days ago. I had a custom HTML widget in my side bar, it worked up until a few days ago, i've tested it on other sites and it works, it's just not working on webs. Not only does the widget not do what it's supposed to do (launch Real Player application and view live internet feeds), but also it's show part of the code on the side bar as well like this:

What does it means that it's "Acknowledged" how about it being "fixed" this has gone on for over a week. My Members are complaining about not being able to use the custom features they've come to enjoy.

Hi , i also have this problem, im running a custom html in the sidebar its a simple image map, the image shows up, but its not clickable. i know the script works because ive tried it in dreamweaver, it just doesnt work from this sidebar! annoying. site is at http://www.skypatrol.com please help!

hey, sorry that code i posted was the wrong code. this code should work and still doesnt work from sidebar when on the homepage. this code works on the sidebar when on forum pages etc. heres the code:

Hi Gus,
I checked out your site and it looks like your Sidebar Module is working properly. I did notice that your sidebar appears while editing but does not appear on your Live homepage.
It looks like the "Revolver Maps" script located at the top of your page is causing the issue. That particular script is interfering with our Sidebar Script. Sometimes running more than one script on a page can cause issues such as that. I'd suggest removing that script so that the sidebar is able to be viewed again. This issue is maybe because when you add custom HTML to a Sidebar module and when you come back to the preview mode, Webs adds many paragraph tags which makes the scripts look bizzare or not work at all.
Solution: Click on Custom Module > Edit HTML <> (the last icon on the right) > Paste the script > CLICK SAVE or OKAY. Do not click the Edit HTML <> link again.
This might help. I have added many custom modules and they all work and i use this way only.

I've tried to add a subscribe form to my site's sidebar, and it doesn't work. I don't want to use the "subscribe" sidebar widget, because that's not what I want visitors to subscribe to. Are html forms able to be inserted into sidebar modules? Or is my html just incorrect?

Hello Wash,
Unfortunately not all HTML Forms are compatible within the Sidebar for a number of reasons. The sidebar is a script. Running more than one script on any page can cause various issues to occur when loading the page.
I would suggest testing the HTML Form on an outside editor to insure that your coding is correct. If your coding is incorrect, be sure to edit it until it's able to function outside of the editor. Then simply try pasting the code again.
If you still encounter difficulties, the code may not be compatible with our sidebar script. -

Thanks for contacting us. I checked out your sidebar and I was able to see where the issue lies.
The HTML within the module is incorrect. If you edit the module, you'll see that there are some additional characters which are affecting the way the module renders on your live site. I would suggest copying your HTML again and pasting it into the module.

My recent attempts at putting widgets in the sidebar has failed as recently as a few days ago and has gone on for months. It doesnt even show up in the field once you switch from html mode to regular before you save it and go view it as a visitor. Twitter, facebook widgets and hulu to name a few. I was told by customer service the code was broken for my hulu widget but it's funny how the widget was fine for months and stopped when I did the simple task of editing the title of that section of the sidebar. -

Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately some codes are simply incompatible with the Sidebar. I would suggest placing the code within a page of the Sitebuilder if you're still interested in using it.
